Astrometry

The equipment required to do astrometry is basically; a telescope, and, a CCD camera, plus, some software. My telescope, however, is on an Altitude/Azimuth base mount, and therefore may require a focuser de-rotator to compensate for field rotation depending on image duration and a remote focusing motor since the CCD camera could be 15 feet in the air. The needed items are; Canon 60Da, or the STF-8300 camera, an autoguider, a guidescope, a remote focus motor, and, possibly the de-rotator. All materials are being installed and may be running soon.

Projects

Follow up of NEO asteroid discoveries with the possibility of discovering previously unknown KBO's.
